Prayer: Come, Walk with Me

Obedience is the key to gaining spiritual knowledge.

Lord Jesus, may I learn to walk with You.

Think of a time when a loving child walked with you and in that little child you found joy and cheer and comfort in its simplicity, its love, its trust. So, too, my child, is it in your power to comfort and bring joy to My heart as you walk with Me.

How I long to thrill Your heart, O God. Bring to remembrance those times past of walking with You, feeling Your power and comfort and joy.

Cast down that which you hold in your hands and come, walk with Me.

May I be willing to withdraw from the distractions of the day and choose instead to walk with You, My Sovereign, My Beloved, My God.
