Act on my behalf!
My eyes grow dim as I wait;
I cry out to You!

Weary
Discouragement comes
And I grow weary with sleep
Fill me with Your strength
And I grow weary with sleep
Fill me with Your strength

Step Out with Confidence
My Exceeding Joy,
Send out Your Light and Your Truth!
Lord, let them lead me.

Lord, let them lead me.

The Cost
May I understand
Christ's Resurrection Power
To spend and be spent

Living Word
Live within God's Word
Then people will see Jesus
Christ lived out through you

Captivated
Captivate my thoughts
Make all my motives Thine own
That I might know You

Esther's Priestly Intercession
My utmost for You
Standing in the inner court
Wearing royal robes
Exodus 28; Esther 5
This prayer poem was an amazing insight in that my Exodus reading talked about the "holy garments" for "glory and beauty" to be worn by the royal priesthood, and how the priest was to come before God with the "stones of remembrance" for the people of God worn upon his shoulders. In the Esther reading, Esther goes before the king wearing her royal robes and she carries the weight of God's people upon her shoulders as she intercedes for them. Esther is ministering as a High Priest for the people of God! A woman! Imagine that!

Prayer Poem: Commissioned
O Lord, hear my cry
Be gracious to me, O Lord
I am languishing
Commissioned by God
No relief and no release
Stand firm in the Lord
Be gracious to me, O Lord
I am languishing
Commissioned by God
No relief and no release
Stand firm in the Lord
