A Famine of Hearing God's Word

Kept by Jesus Christ
During famine in our land
Let me hear Your Word

Shine

Abounding in Hope
Walking in the Truth of God 
God shining through me

Mercy

Act on my behalf!
My eyes grow dim as I wait; 
I cry out to You!

Weary

Discouragement comes 
And I grow weary with sleep
Fill me with Your strength

Gift

The excellent gift:  
A broken and contrite heart 
God will not despise

Enlightenment

Lord, enlighten me 
so I may understand You 
and all Your teachings

Spirit-Filled

Grant understanding 
of Your teachings and Your Love 
Fill us with Your Peace

Servant or Instrument?

A "servant" of God 
manifests spiritual fruit 
in and through their life 

A mere "instrument" 
may be used by God to bless 
But they yield no fruit

Wait

The Lord is not slow
To fulfill His promises.   
Wait upon the Lord! 

True Success

Measure your success 
By others seeing My will 
Worked out in Your life 

Confession

Shallow in my faith 
Grant me Your Divine Nature 
Jesus Christ, my Lord 

Conquest

Do not be frightened 
Go forward in victory 
For I am with you

Revelation

Crises come to us 

To reveal our deepest self 

Whose we really are

Follow Me

To stay where you were 
Would have been harder than this. 
Faithfully follow.

Courageous

I will be with you 
Do not be afraid, my child 
Be filled with courage

Choice

Come, my friend, choose Life 
It is time to seek the Lord 
Choose God's steadfast Love

Faithful

Don't pare down My Word 
to suit your understanding. 
Be faithful to Me

Heart Peace

Establish your heart. 
Furnish the quiet places 
with My Peace and Love.

Search

There is need for you 
To search for Truth in God's Word 
And do the right thing

Wage Peace

Will you work for Peace?  
Many stumble on the Way 
Grant us Peace and Love
