Wait. . .
Lord God, I wait before You. . .
Come away to a deserted place all by yourself. Rest awhile. . .
I rest in the confident hope that You started this work in me, and You will be faithful to complete it.
I will complete it. Do not strain, do not row against the tide.
I rest at Your behest.
Rest, be strong and let your heart take courage. Wait, I say, upon the Lord. I have planned things before the foundation of the world. My plan will prevail. Rest in that truth.
(Philippians 1.6; Psalm 27.14; Tobit 6.17; Mark 6.31)
