Lord God, thank You for the gift of Your Holy Spirit, who works in us the very nature of the risen Christ. May we be known by the marks that distinguish those of Your Kingdom, a people separated from this age. May we make a new beginning this Easter, setting our hope for the life of the world to come by choosing the path that honors You, yielding to Your Spirit's power rather than gratifying ourselves in ways that do not promote Christ-likeness. Equip us for Your work by a growing understanding and acceptance of Your Word. Amen (2 Corinthians 6.17; Ezra 3.8; 4 Maccabees 3; 2 Timothy 3.16)
