Even in difficult days
Be thankful and glad

Aching Abyss
Only One Being
Can satisfy my heart's cry
All others will fail
Can satisfy my heart's cry
All others will fail

Perplexities Press
My mind is now filled
with knowledge of God's control
behind everything
Perplexities press
Why should I worry or fret?
God is my Father
with knowledge of God's control
behind everything
Perplexities press
Why should I worry or fret?
God is my Father

Trust
God first, God second
Life faced steadily with God
"None but Thee, O Lord!"
God's next good in store
Await it with child-like trust
Do not be afraid
Life faced steadily with God
"None but Thee, O Lord!"
God's next good in store
Await it with child-like trust
Do not be afraid

Esther's Priestly Intercession
My utmost for You
Standing in the inner court
Wearing royal robes
Exodus 28; Esther 5
This prayer poem was an amazing insight in that my Exodus reading talked about the "holy garments" for "glory and beauty" to be worn by the royal priesthood, and how the priest was to come before God with the "stones of remembrance" for the people of God worn upon his shoulders. In the Esther reading, Esther goes before the king wearing her royal robes and she carries the weight of God's people upon her shoulders as she intercedes for them. Esther is ministering as a High Priest for the people of God! A woman! Imagine that!
